Our client, a prestigious educational organization consisting of five schools offering unique learning programs targeting early childhood through high school, is seeking an Executive Director of Institutional Advancement. Reporting directly to the president, this position will be responsible for providing effective external and internal leadership of the institution’s overall advancement program. Responsibilities include management of professional staff involved in: alumni and foundation relations; donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for major and planned giving as well as for both the annual and capital campaigns; external relations and communications; and special events. This position requires a college degree coupled with significant development experience, ideally in an institutional setting. Candidates must have the ability to lead and to connect with supporters and effectively communicate the values and needs of the organization.
